Region Multicultural Manager
What You Will Do in This Role:
The multicultural consumer is the most dynamic and fastest growing segment of the U.S consumer economy. This role will be instrumental in the management, amplification and execution of sales and marketing programming at a regional and local level that will grow B-F’s share amongst high growth multicultural consumer segments.
What You Will Experience:
Manage brand and portfolio sales and marketing programs targeting the Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, LGBTQ, and Asian American consumer, working in close partnership with relevant local teams
Manage field marketing and field sales execution, sales accountability and brand portfolio strategy in the region through partnership with FMMs, General Managers, State Managers and Market Managers
Ensure local and regional field marketing and field sales teams remain clear on multicultural objectives and prioritization of goals & priorities (consumer and commercial)
Lead designated multicultural field marketing campaigns and activities for the Jack Daniel’s Family of Brands and Korbel Champagne while consulting with respective brand FMMs across all brands
Lead strategic business decisions in the region around multicultural consumers and customers
Serve as a subject matter expert and resource to secondary clusters within the region
Build local B-F multicultural sales/marketing plans and consult on budgets to meet targets
Collaborate in building and communicating portfolio plans to the Broker/Distributor network
Serve as a resource for dedicated multicultural partners within the Broker/Distributor network (i.e. education, strategic planning, program ideation and analysis)
Manage dedicated B-F multicultural agency resources in collaboration with FMMs (i.e. Multicultural Brand Champions)
Establish a plan to continually train distributor/agency personnel responsible for representing B-F in assigned metro markets
Identify the cultural essence that drives multicultural consumer behavior to drive initiative development
Remain at the forefront of converging demographic and social trends that are reshaping how marketers and advertisers use culture to connect with increasingly diverse customers
Evaluate program effectiveness/success against goals and objectives, and provide feedback to the national Multicultural Marketing team for future planning
Lead the communication of multicultural marketing best practices throughout the region
Hold regular calls with region and territory leadership on multicultural marketing and sales initiatives
Assemble and lead a Multicultural Council for the assigned geography consisting of B-F, agency and distributor personnel
What Exactly Are We Looking For?
Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years sales and multicultural marketing experience; or relevant education/experience combination
Spirits/Alcohol Beverage sales or marketing experience
Multicultural consumer knowledge, interest and expertise (Hispanic and Black)
Superior strategic thinking and results orientation, with a track record of superior performance
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and maintain effective working relationships with top level decision makers, distributors and all internal stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in developing, executing and managing national and/or regional campaigns
Ability to analyze and translate insights data.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically.
Demonstrated understanding of distributor management and the ability to manage people at a high level in organizations.
Demonstrated knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel. Social media marketing experience is preferred.
Ability to work independently with little supervision; self-motivated.
Excellent oral, analytical and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Ability and willingness to travel, including some weekends
Valid driver’s license.
