Meaningful Work from Day One
This position will assist the Finance Manager in providing financial management support and analytical insights to Brown-Forman Thailand. You will assist in preparing reports, as well as analyse data for marketing, sales, finance and other departments.
What you will experience
Financial Planning & Analysis:
Building and loading annual budget and projections into planning systems
Assist in identifying key drivers for variances vs. last year and vs. budget/projections, including monthly assessment of risks and upsides vs. the latest projection
Support with the preparation of presentations, analyses and documents
Support supply chain processes by ensuring alignment of forecasted volumes, by monitoring inventory levels, and by maintaining close working relationships with distributors and supply chain teams.
Preparing price chains
Commercial Support and Analytical Insights:
Providing commercial support by preparation of sales data realization
Maintain knowledge of external industry trends, utilizing data sources such as Nielsen and IWSR as requested by teams
Using hindsight analytics and forward looking scenario analysis, support the decision making in areas such as volume, pricing, margin control, investment efficiency and new SKU introductions
Maintain and analyze price structures/value chain, ensuring the structures properly reflect the current market conditions
Support with Financial Management & Controllership:
Support in tracking, analyzing and reporting on discounting, brand expense and SG&A spending
Work with internal and external accounting teams to ensure our financial results are accurately reported
Support with setting up and monitoring internal controls
Reporting and analysis:
Perform monthly management reporting and review
Assist with the improvement of reporting processes, data maintenance and insight collection
Keep key stakeholders up to date with reporting tools and collect feedback for further development
Financial and strategic modelling
RTC and commercial scenario planning
Other ad hoc projects as required
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
5 or more years of experience in Finance
Ability to make decisions independently based on logical assumptions and factual information
Advanced PC skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
Strong time management and analytical skills
Fluent business English, both speaking and writing
Experience with SAP and BW (or similar software)
Experience with project management, process improvement is highly regarded
An Audit background is advantageous
