Meaningful Work From Day One
This role leads and manages the Engineering and Facilities teams at Newbridge (packaging site) and has a matrix management leadership of the Compliance Administrator at the 3 distilleries. This role will be split across all sites in the BenRiach Distillery Organisation (BRDO) with an approximate focus of 40% Distilleries (Aberdeenshire/ Moray) / 60% Newbridge (Edinburgh). The role is based at Newbridge, and travel between sites is expected.
This is a Senior Leadership role with a focus on Engineering, Safety and Continuous improvement, the role has responsibilities across all 4 production sites as well as barrel warehousing. The business continues to invest in ambitious expansion and improvement plans where this role will play a significant part of the development and implementation of these projects.
What you can expect:
Lead all engineering activities across BRDO sites
Lead continuous improvement activities for BRDO in collaboration with site teams
Develop and Implement business preventative maintenance program utilising EMaint System for Distilleries, warehousing, Bottling production and Bottling facilities .
Lead the capital project budget development and implementation, including Capital Request Process (CAR) through collaboration with leaders.
Manage and track engineering spend/budget via Finance systems (eg COUPA)
Strategic leadership of onsite engineering, facilities and maintenance staff to reach agreed KPIs
Support Production in OEE improvement opportunities and TPM activities
Develop and roll out a CI program utilising TPM methodologies across all BRDO sites
Collaborating with all BRDO leaders to drive EHS improvement programmes across all BRDO sites
We are looking for someone who has:
Engineering qualification to degree level or equivalent experience
Lower Tier COMAH experience
Relevant Health & Safety qualification
Experience in manufacturing industry
Experience Managing a Total Preventative Maintenance system
Managing large capital projects
Engineering Database System knowledge / experience (such as EMAINT)
Experience in a bottling / warehousing / distillery operations environment
