What You Will Do in This Role
In this role you will provide support to maximize value and commercial impact for our portfolio of brands with Customers and in addition you will be responsible for managing the POSM process across the brand portfolio.
You will be responsible for supporting the Customer Marketing Manager with execution of customer activation plans for off trade customers and maintaining our point of sales process - from an ordering, dispatch, inventory and invoicing prospective for the UK business. You will ensure that all activation plans address the portfolio consumer challenges and opportunities whilst exciting customers about B-F brands.
The role collaborates with many different functional teams across brand marketing, customer marketing, sales and demand planning to develop best in class executions that drive both brand and business objectives.
You will have some experience in customer marketing and are very comfortable managing multiple projects at any given time will be key.

Contribute to the development and execution of customer activations with the with a wider cross functional team by ensuring that customer specific requirements and best practice are considered.
With direction from the Customer Marketing Manager, manage the POSM process;
Manage the ordering process of standard POS items for the entire Customer / Brand Marketing teams from a centrally sourced location.
Coordinate the volume and timing requirements from Sales for pre-agreed POS elements with input from the wider Off Trade Customer Marketing team.
Work with the Customer Marketing Manager to minimize storage cost through POS ordering and kitting process.
Work with POS storage supplier to clear through slow moving items and ensure 97% POS dispatch for key campaigns within agreed timeframe.
Manage slow moving items website, recommend outdated POS items for destructions and report back cost savings to wider business. Communicate and manage the process of clear through of stocks with all sales teams.
Run monthly reports in conjunction with POS storage supplier to monitor costs, items currently being held.
Track, monitor budgets, process PO and invoices related to POS storage costs for the Customer Marketing team.
Catalogue, manage the of storage and dispatch of permanent event POS items used across the entire business.
Co-ordinate and upload the sales team quarterly focus packs including POS item availability.
Understand consumer vision and brand proposition for each brand in the portfolio. Ensure that each brands proposition is bought to life through customer activation plans.
Using brand developed distinctive assets and toolkits work with agency partners to create customer activity briefs including design, POSM, sales promotion outlining requirements, timings and budgets. Ensuring that all outputs conform to legal and brand guidelines.
With support from the Customer Marketing Manager you are responsible for delivering the Field Sales marketing plans to achieve annual volume and value targets. This should be achieved by the development and implementation of customer strategic activations, which address the brand portfolio /consumer challenges and opportunities.
Have knowledge of how customer activation plans contribute to the management of the P&L as required to drive B-F UK value agenda.
Input into the situation analysis of customer, business issues and opportunities across the portfolio to inform the customer and channel activation strategies & plans to unlock volume and value growth.
Track customer marketing activations budgets including raising PO’s, GRN and Customer Marketing budgets. Align tracking with monthly A&P reporting.
Pre & post evaluate customer activations to ensure that they deliver against agreed KPI’s, Critical Success Factors and ROI. Input customer specific learnings into the development of annual cycle plans.
Support the Customer Marketing Manager in building key customer relationships with Customer Buying and Marketing teams to ensure that brand / outlet activations are meeting customer strategies and challenges.
Work in conjunction with the Procurement Manager to ensure effective and efficient POSM is achieved and maintained.
Ensure launch plans, activation compliance and all activity programs remain aligned to brand and channel activation strategies.
Seek buy-in and gain approval from Channel Marketing Manager and Department Heads on key projects.
Work with sales teams on the execution of activation plans instore and outlet. Collaborate in the reviewing of the effectiveness of all customer activations.
Detailed understanding of Customers with whom you will be responsible for creating activation plans with.
Actively and regularly visit the trade including concept stores, seminars and champion adopting a local store or outlet to partner with. Gain in in-depth understand of the operational challenges of retail on a day to day basis.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
Deliver the customer plans on time and on budget and they contribute to the overall delivery of the commercial target set by the company measured through forecast review and EPOS performance.
Activation delivery to the pre agreed evaluation criteria from KPI’s and Critical Success Factors.
Personal performance measured through feedback, annual and monthly (checkin) reviews
What You Bring to the Table
Qualified in marketing relevant experience including Off Trade account handling and project management.
Experience in point of purchase sourcing and execution.
Good interpersonal skills; able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of internal and external contacts and with diverse cultures.
Prior experience in FMCG companies.
Analytical skills being able to identify trends and patterns, commercially savvy aware.
