Position Responsibilities: Principal responsibility is to keep employee and visitor area plantings attractive, controlled, and healthy. Ensures that the grounds and properties are kept presentable and in good order. Prepares grounds for plant maintenance, special planting projects and seeding. Must possess a good working knowledge of sound agricultural and horticultural practices and equipment. Performs a variety of activities including landscaping, mowing, trimming, snow/leaf removal, and other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements :

• Makes decisions on proper use of mowers, and grounds equipment for safety of operator, people, and property around the working area.

• Knowledge and experience with selecting, planting, and maintaining bushes, shrubs, and decorative plantings.

• Competent at operating common grounds equipment such as weed eaters, hedge trimmers, and chainsaws.

• Makes decisions on proper maintenance and repairs of equipment.

• Works in all types of weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.

• Frequent exposure to dust, fumes, and high noise levels.

• Ability to lift, carry, or move very heavy objects (50 lbs or more)

• Candidates must be willing to learn and capable of conforming to hygiene and sanitation requirements as described in the Brown-Forman Housekeeping and Sanitation Manual
