Brown-Forman Financial Analyst, Belgium & Luxemburg (6 month FTC) in Paris, France

Meaningful Work From Day One

The focus will lie in Operations Controlling, that will analyze and report on operational costs and marketing expenses for France and Belgium, make sure that companies have the right practices and processes in place to increase effectiveness and efficiency of the operational organizations.

The incumbent will increase transparency and understanding of costs and will drive special projects to lower costs and increase profitability along our value chain. Thus, he/she will have to work closely together with and act as a Business partner to other functions like Marketing and supply chain mainly.

What You Can Expect

• Being support and business partner to all operationally relevant functions

• In charge of the budget planning process for all marketing and cost of sales expenses

• Analyzing and reporting of Cost of Sales and Marketing expenses

• Profitability Analysis all along our operational value chain

• Co-operating with other departments (Supply Chain, Marketing) to ensure that right practices, policies, and processes are in place and followed

• Integration and reconciliation of planned, reported and maintained data key factors especially in regards to our gifting and special packaging processes

• Special projects to lift potential savings in Operations

• Ad-hoc analysis, work, and support in all other areas of the Finance Team

What You Bring to the Table

  • Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent); Finance

  • Experience: 1 or 2 years in Finance

  • Fluent French & English, both written and verbal

  • Financial / ERP System – SAP

  • Strong Analytical skills
