Meaningful Work From Day One

The Sales Manager plays a vital role in effectively implementing the region's strategies and leading growth across the Indochina markets. Working as an individual contributor, you will establish, build and implement the route-to-market strategies for Indochina and build Brown-Forman’s portfolio of brands in alignment with the Brand Strategies. You will identify the commercial plans, build capabilities with partners and lead the business with recognizable results. This position is part of the SEA Leadership team and will be responsible for the markets’ P&L.

What You Can Expect

Strategy and Planning

○ Understand the different importation and regulatory guidelines within Indochina and establish the regions’ strategic and growth objectives.

○ Review and define route-to-consumer plans for the region across all channels, including the continued acceleration of e-commerce where applicable.

○ Review strategy against channel trends and adjust plans based on all insights sources.

○ Prepare and present annual Country Plans, monthly business reviews, and quarterly forecasts.

○ Set distributor goals and track performance through quarterly business reviews.

Area Leadership

○ Be an proactive member of the Southeast Asia Leadership team.

○ Install the Brown-Forman Values in all we do as a team.

○ Work closely with key functions including Marketing, Advocacy, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure a collaborative approach to setting and achieving sales and marketing goals.

○ Represent the company on appropriate industry associations.

○ Be a champion and drive the implementation of business tools and systems, building distributors capabilities and strength.

○ Be a proactive contributor to company D&I goals and available employee resource groups.

Business Performance Management

○ Manage Regional P&L and control investment working with Finance as a business partner.

○ Review plans and proactively adjust programs to meet business priorities and targets.

○ Maintain effective, value adding business relationships with key customers.

○ Accurate budgeting and tracking of investments and all commercial contracts.

○ Manage any business expenses and resources incurred in line with company guidelines.

○ Manage Distributor relationships, contracts setting and KPI achievement across the region.

○ Review pricing opportunities and align with brand guidelines on establishing new products.

○ Ensure accurate forecasting, and inventory cost control, working with Supply Chain Manager.

Leveraging Insights

○ Provide and report monthly insight on channel, competition and category trends.

○ Uses customer and channel knowledge to define new opportunities and create value.

○ Understand the overall fit of products within the category and channel. Effectively communicate this fit to gain appropriate new points of distribution, increase quality of display and run effective promotions.

What You Bring to the Table

● FMCG industry experience.

● Management experience in distributor management in Indochina markets.

● Good knowledge of Indochina importation and regulatory environment of imported spirits.

● Understanding of On-premise, Off premise and the alcohol channel dynamics.

● Experience working in an international environment.

● Proven ability achieving objectives in a matrix organizational structure.
