Meaningful Work from Day One
This new position will be responsible for leading the inception and development of strategic marketing plans for our Super Premium brands. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in building the next leading brand in our portfolio.
What you will experience
Active member of the ANZPI Marketing Leadership team, assists in the development of other team members through sharing of marketing expertise and leading by example.
Develop and manage robust working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Lead the knowledge of brand assets and its relevance to the local market and communicate adequately to other key areas of the business
Leverage global capability framework to strengthen the Marketing Capabilities within the Super Premium team
Brand and Innovation Strategy
Lead the development and approval of annual and three year brand plans, across the allotted portfolio.
Liaise with local, regional and global brand executives to ensure that brand plans adhere to local & global strategy
Devise and manage brand objectives, strategies and promotional programs in line with local & global brand strategies
Lead the briefing, development and approval process for any local creative or global creative adaptations
Lead the approval process and implementation of key brand programs through the line
Partner with our Shopper Marketing teams to ensure brand programs and activities are fully integrated through the line and communicated to the field sales teams
Liaise with our media partners to build & implement our media strategy and media plans
Oversee negotiations for any sponsorship proposals and agreements
Oversee and manage the varying brand’s P&L’s, ensuring delivery of budgets
Spend time in the trade to understand practical implementation of all marketing promotional activities.
Liaise with sales staff on the execution of marketing plans in the field, and review the effectiveness of all marketing activities.
Conduct full marketing evaluations and make recommendations for any changes that might benefit the brand.
Monitor brand performance against sales forecasts and determine corrective action where needed
Facilitate, lead collaboration and take key stakeholders throughout the organization “on the journey” for key programs and strategic initiatives
Work with the Portfolio Planning and Insights team to measure and review all relevant research data information into development of brand building activities which build equity whilst driving sustainable and profitable sales targets
Circa 7-10 years marketing experience in FMCG industry with experience and operational responsibility in ATL and BTL
Proven track record in driving overall communication plans including TTL activities
Previous experience in management / leadership role and passion for developing teams
Strong commercial background and mindset
Excellent analytical and conceptual skills - previous success in translating insights into new ideas and strategies and recommending changes fit for growth
Ambassador mindset and strong passion for brands
High level interpersonal and influential skills
Excellent collaborator and ability to develop robust working relationships with all stakeholders
Experience in trade marketing or consumer insights / commercial roles is advantageous. Liquor industry knowledge/experience and exposure within multinational companies is also highly regarded.
