The Australian team consists of around 150 people who work in regional and city locations throughout the country, with offices in Sydney (Head Office), Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
Meaningful work from Day One
This new position will be responsible for ensuring suitable inventory cover to cover our Commercial needs. This position will be the key supply chain contact for our agency brands such as Jagermeister, Fords Gin, Scotch and Irish whiskey. You will coordinate the allocation process, provide all relevant reporting and lead the weekly collaboration between Brown-Forman and 3PL.
What you will experience
In collaboration with the Demand Planning Manager, review national stock level parameters for optimal safety levels in Australia and New Zealand and managing within agreed targets
Maintenance of SAP planning master data
Identify cost savings & efficiencies in purchasing & planning processes i.e. transfer truckutilisation, vendor to warehouse minimise inventory
Liaise with 3PL and freight forwarder with regards to expediting containers and transport
Ensure Christmas lines are ordered in line with Brown-Forman commitments by warehouse
Advise of any supply delays and subsequent impacts to business
Ensure container loads are within road limit weight restrictions at origin and destination
Determine monthly stock allocations to be submitted to Customer Service consideringSOH, SIT and lead times to each warehouse.
Reporting - update reports for weekly customer meetings and be an active participant in these meetings. You will also develop, maintain & update internal supply chain reports
Lead the weekly pulse meetings with 3PL, providing customer service with current etas, updates on allocations and facilitating discussion on weekly priorities for stickering, repacks & inwards priorities
Coordinate the weekly warehouse transfers process
Complete Customer SOH report, planned order reports, OOS by customer report, Stock on hand and stock cover reports for monthly meetings
Dependent Demand Skus Australia - Plan WET and Dry goods for “Demand Dependent SKU’s” for local rework & manage relationship between our 3PL and co-packer
Ensure SAP transactions are processed to accurately reflect actual goods movementsbetween the warehouse and co-packer, along with stock reconciliation of finished and unfinished goods
Weekly review and action of Global Travel Retail portfolio cross docking from Australiato New Zealand
Complete inventory management of Part Time Rangers brand in AU & NZ. This includes stock movement, i.e. goods receipt, goods issue, block and release stock, Best Before Date management etc
Around 3-5 years business planning or supply chain experience
Tertiary education in finance, business, supply chain or related field
Strong experience in SAP ERP/APO platforms
Excellent reporting experience and ability to present data in clear and effective manner
Experience in managing supply across multiple locations
Project management skills
Curious mindset and strong problem solving ability
