The role is responsible for the development and execution of Integrated Marketing Channel/Customer plans in close collaboration with Brand & Insights, Sales, primarily with On & Off-trade teams. The role is responsible for excellence in execution in the channel making sure that all activation programs are fitting brand objectives, are relevant for the channel, delivered on time, respecting the budget."

What You Can Expect

Strategy & business development

  • Inputs into the situation analysis of customer, business issues and opportunities across William Grant & Sons portfolio to inform the customer and channel activation strategies & plans to unlock volume and value growth

  • Provide relevant insights on channel developments which would feed to correct channel segmentation & prioritization and efficient resource allocation. Partner with the Sales team to identify key focus geographies to ensure proper resource allocation

  • Leads the creation of optimal portfolio per segment/Key customer aligned with portfolio strategy and providing maximized value

  • Provide Picture of Success and Best-in-class visibilities recommendations to the Trade Marketing Manager for key customers in the regions in cooperation with Brand and Commercial teams and based on available guideline by channel; follows executions in the field

  • Develop and expand On & Off-trade channels by providing the appropriate Sales tools and POSM

Leadership and Drive

  • Contribute to brand, channel and customer strategies

  • Lead with the Sales Team turning the “selling stories” into sales tools to effectively present brands, products and the marketing initiatives to their customers

  • Oversee preparation and execution of Activity Calendar for all On & Off-Trade channels covering key selling periods identified in Brand Plans to maximize effectiveness

Brand Activation

  • Oversee execution of key marketing platforms/initiatives

  • Promotional activities recommendation and evaluation per channel/client

  • Ensure proper execution of promo guidelines delivered by marketing team

POSM & in-store promotion for On & Off-Trade

  • Management of development and distribution of POSM materials for brand platforms based on the communication guidelines delivered by Brand Manager

  • Management and development of merchandising standards for all POSM

  • Management and development of Tailor-Made actions in cooperation with Brand Marketing and Sales Team

  • Ensure proper execution of promo guidelines delivered by marketing team

Measurement & KPIs for On & Off-Trade

  • Track and report progress on listings and distribution building activities for all products

  • Intermediary evaluations of promotions using sell-in, sell-out data and qualitative feedback from colleagues

  • Drive deep shopper understanding as a base for all decisions made

  • Regular market visits monitor WG&S and competitors’ activities in-store

Budget Management

  • Budget management of related spending to keep them within approved budget frames

  • Represent Trade Marketing function throughout Brand Planning process and whenever any ad-hoc reporting is required

  • Look for opportunities to optimize cost of POS purchase and logistics

What You Bring to the Table

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing or retail environment

  • Solid Food and Beverage, Alcohol products (FMCG) experience and business acumen

  • Intermediate in English, writing business level, speaking can be intermediate level

  • Agency/Vendor management experiences

  • Sales Promotion execution and management
